The softest viscosity grade, used primarily for spraying applications such as surface dressing, and for paving in very cold climatic zones. Also the common feedstock for bitumen emulsion manufacture.

Bituminous Products for Durable Pavements
From viscosity-grade bitumen to polymer and crumb-rubber modified binders, emulsions and cutbacks, all supplied against IS 73, IS 15462 and IS 8887 and engineered for durability, flexibility and real-world performance.
The binder behind highways, runways and city streets
Modern road networks live or die on binder quality. Our paving grades, modified binders and cold-applied emulsions are matched to climate, traffic and construction method, so pavements resist rutting, cracking and fatigue for longer.

Paving grade bitumen is the foundation of road infrastructure. We supply refined bitumen graded by viscosity (VG, IS 73 : 2013) and by penetration, matched to climate and load-bearing requirements.
The standard grade for paving bituminous macadam and asphalt concrete across most of India, the binder behind national highway and state road programmes.
The stiffest paving grade, designed for high-stress areas such as intersections, toll plazas and heavy-duty truck terminals where rutting resistance at high pavement temperatures is critical.
A semi-hard paving bitumen suited to heavy traffic loads and high ambient temperatures, the go-to binder for highways and airfield runways.
A softer grade with higher penetration, ideal for low-volume roads and colder climates where flexibility is needed to prevent thermal cracking.
Modified binders are engineered by blending elastomeric polymers or chemically treated crumb rubber into bitumen, improving elasticity, cutting temperature susceptibility and extending pavement service life significantly.
The stiffest elastomeric PMB, designed for extreme climatic swings and heavy traffic corridors, with superior resistance to rutting and fatigue cracking.
The balanced formulation for moderate-to-high traffic zones, with enhanced cohesion and adhesion and dependable workability, widely specified for highway wearing courses and bridge decks.
The high-flexibility binder for cold regions, where excellent elastic recovery prevents thermal cracking on snow-bound and high-altitude road networks.
Modified with chemically treated crumb rubber for mild climatic zones, a sustainable binder that gives end-of-life tyres a second life in the pavement.
The standard CRMB grade, with improved resistance to permanent deformation and water stripping for urban arterials and highway overlays.
The high-performance CRMB grade for hot climates and heavy axle loads, including junctions, climbing lanes and industrial access roads.
Liquid bitumen for lower application temperatures. Emulsions are eco-friendly water-based dispersions applied cold, while cutbacks are solvent-fluxed solutions with engineered curing times.
Fast-breaking cationic emulsions. RS-1 promotes bonding between pavement layers as a tack coat, while the heavier RS-2 is built for surface dressing and chip sealing.
Designed to stay workable while mixing with coarse aggregate, the emulsion of choice for premix carpet work and pot-hole repair in all weather.
Slow-breaking emulsions for fine mixes. SS-1 penetrates porous bases as a prime coat; SS-2 carries slurry seal and micro-surfacing systems.
Fluxed with kerosene-type solvents for a moderate curing window, the standard prime coat over granular bases and for premix with open-graded aggregate.
Fluxed with naphtha-type solvents that flash off quickly, suited to surface treatments and tack coats in cooler weather where fast cure is essential.
Key parameters are shown here; the full IS 8887 and IS 217 requirement tables are available on request. Additional grades, including VG-20 and anionic emulsions, can be supplied to order; talk to our desk.
